For several days, the Galileo program has been down. The European GNSS Agency, which monitors the satellite radionavigation system, said in a statement on 14 July 2019 that system is “affected by a technical incident related to its terrestrial infrastructure”. The satellites themselves are not involved.
You can follow the functioning of the constellation of the satellites with this page. 2 satellites have the status “under test” while 23 others are “not usable” at this time.
If you need to make precise measurements, we recommend the following handling. Indeed, it is recommended to delete the assigned Galileo channels and attribute them to the others constellations.
Go to the U-center platform to deactivate the assigned Galileo channels. To do so, put the Galileo channels to 0 and reassign them to the satellites of your choice.
We hope to be soon informed of the date on which Galileo system will be functional again.
